My Weekend Dressing Formula Broken Down

We finally started to get a little taste of Spring. Even though it was short-lived, the nice couple of days had me ready to start transitioning my wardrobe for the change of seasons. I honestly feel like I will lose my mind if I have to wear that damn Canada Goose coat one more time!

In the spirit of the onset of Spring, I'm breaking down my basic go-to weekend dressing formula - jeans, sweater or t-shirt, and fun accessories.

I'm wearing this Romwe tunic that has been one of my best purchases this year. Even though their site considers this a sweater dress, the impossibly short length makes it better suited for layering with pants or a skirt.

When loosely tucked into a pair of light denim skinny jeans, its super flattering and just warm enough for weird weather days in March.

Add a little bit of spice with the accessories. I've been really into textures lately, so decided to double up on the pony hair. The pumps have a classic silhouette and are the perfect height to look stylish and sexy without being uncomfortable. And the red bag was a much needed burst of color in an otherwise neutral look.

Weekend Soft Romantic Beauty Look

Whenever I'm wearing a super casual look, I like to do something with the makeup to make things pop. I kept the colors in a natural tone, with a soft, romantic smokey eye and feminine pink lip. It was kind of inspired by a runway look I saw at NYFW last month, but I went more pink than mauve on the lip. And since my hair was back I added these adorable flower earrings to finish the look.

I'm wearing this Romwe tunic tucked into these jeans from Revolve, and some classic Sergio Rossi pumps. You can also check out a few similar styles I love!
