Black Friday is here and the deals have been rolling in extra early this year. I typically don’t do much shopping around Black Friday, but this is the time of year that I start working on travel plans. The Best Black Friday Travel Deals of 2025: Where to Save Big on Flights, Hotels & Vacations

Why Black Friday Is the Best Time to Book Travel

Black Friday and Cyber Monday fall during a sweet spot in the travel calendar—after summer vacation season and before peak holiday travel. Travel companies use this period to fill seats, sell rooms, and secure early bookings for the upcoming year by offering extremely competitive discounts.

Here’s why Black Friday is ideal for booking:

  • Black Friday has the lowest prices before prices start to spike, especially closer to spring break and summer holidays.

  • You can find a wider variety of promo codes and bonuses (free nights, upgrades, onboard credit, etc.) that help you get more bang for your buck.

  • If you love to gift travel, this is the perfect timing for gifting travel experiences for the holidays

If saving money is a priority, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are undeniably the best times of the year to secure flights, hotels, cruises, and travel packages. I also take advantage of finding the best luxury hotel deals so I can travel in style.

Best Black Friday Hotel & Resort Deals 2024

Nearly all major hotel brands run Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, often including:

  • 20–30% off standard rates

  • Bonus points for loyalty members

  • Free night offers when booking multiple nights

Resort-heavy brands like Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Hotels, and Hyatt often offer their steepest discounts on warm-weather destinations like Mexico, the Caribbean, and Florida. And brands such as Sandals, Beaches, Club Med, Excellence, and consistently offer Cyber Week discounts of 30–55% off.

For families, honeymooners, and sun-seekers, this is one of the year’s top opportunities to save hundreds—or even thousands—on a full vacation package.

So if that sounds like your vibe, grab the deals below while you can.

Sandals Resorts: Adults-only, all-inclusive deals up to 65 percent off at 17 locations across the Caribbean. Travelers can book trips through December 25, 2027, and get a bonus of $200 spa credits, $300 airfare credits, and single complimentary nights, depending on the length of their stay.

Hilton: The Hilton Sale is on through December 15, letting you can save up to 25 percent on stays at properties in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and beyond. And if you want to rack up Hilton points faster, apply for the Hilton Honors Amex! I just booked a 3 night stay in France for only $120 thanks to their generous points program and opportunity to earn free reward nights with no blackout dates.

Third party booking sites also come through with incredible deals this time of year!

Hotels.com is letting travelers save up to 50 percent off select stays, including 4 and 5 star properties in Paris, Tokyo, London, New York City, and more. Browse now, but wait until Travel Tuesday, when the site will drop a fresh batch of 75 percent off deals on a handpicked selection of hotels.

Booking.com is one of my go to sites for booking travel, and right now, they are running a Black Friday travel sale with discounts on accommodations, flights, car rentals, and attractions for travel through 2026. Discounts include up to 40% off select hotels, up to 15% off flights, and up to 20% off car rentals and attractions. I’m currently finishing up plans for my summer Euro trip thanks to these amazing deals.

Tips for Booking Black Friday Travel Deals (What to Know Before You Click Buy)

Black Friday deals move fast, but that doesn’t mean you should skip the fine print. Here’s what to review before booking:

Check Cancellation Policies Carefully

Some deals are flexible—but many are not. Watch for:

  • “Nonrefundable” or “no changes allowed”

  • Fees for modifying dates

  • Refunds issued as travel credits only

If your plans are even slightly uncertain, prioritize flexible bookings.

Look for Travel Insurance Options

For big-ticket trips, consider:

  • Trip cancellation insurance

  • Medical coverage

  • Cancel-for-any-reason (CFAR) upgrades

Insurance can protect you if a trip becomes impossible due to illness, weather, or emergency.

Verify What’s Actually Included

Especially for:

  • Cruise packages

  • All-inclusive resorts

  • Guided tours

Check whether airport transfers, meals, activities, Wi-Fi, or taxes are included so you know the true total cost.

Compare Prices Before Checking Out

Just because it’s a Black Friday deal doesn’t mean it’s the lowest possible price. Use tools like:

  • Google Flights

  • Hopper

  • Skyscanner

  • Trivago

Sometimes the sale is real—sometimes it’s just marketing.

Join Loyalty Programs Before You Book

Most brands offer extra savings or bonus points for members, or for signing up for emails/texts. Signing up is usually free and only takes a minute, so stack those deals to save as much as you can.

Look for points bonus sales if you’re not ready to commit

If you still don’t have any idea where you want to go or when you can travel, look into buying or transferring points for a generous bonus that will help your points go farther when its actually time to book. Points can devalue quickly, so I usually prefer to do this when I’m ready to book something, but if you can’t make up your mind or want to hold off, this is the next best option.

Where are you most excited to travel to next year?
